1.The Boathouse at Breach Inlet- The Boathouse has some of the prettiest views in the entire city. Head up to the top bar and look to your left to see the waves of the Atlantic rolling in at the breach inlet. Look to your right and you will see the sun setting in front of the Ravenel Bridge. Specialty drinks include the strong Strawberry Mule Moonshine and refreshing Mango Runner. As the evening winds down take a stroll right across the street to find beach access. There’s nothing more peaceful than a hand-in-hand beach walk to cap off the night.

2.The Watch Rooftop Kitchen & Spirits- The Restoration Hotel boasts the city’s highest rooftop bar and restaurant. It offers indoor and outdoor seating with impressive views of Downtown Charleston, the Ravenel Bridge and more. The Watch takes a cue from the rich history and coastal location, artfully serving modern American food with low country and global influences. The outdoor seating faces west and provides pristine evening views.Image title

3.Reds Icehouse on Shem Creek- This may seem like a surprising entry on this list as most locals know Reds for it’s late-night party atmosphere. However, head up to the crows nest on a weeknight and you will find the best views that Shem Creek has to offer. Below you can see dolphins playing alongside kayakers and seagulls. Look out to the harbor past the Yorktown and see the sun coming down behind the battery. Its laid-back setting and elevated views make this one of the best spots in town to catch a perfect sunset.

4.Pier 101 Restaurant and Bar (Folly Beach)- Located directly on the pier overlooking Folly Beach, this live music bar has a carefree, easy going beach vibe. With their decorations and menu, this spot aims to pay tribute to the piers of Folly Beach past. Local musicians will serenade you while you enjoy beachfront dining with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Indoor and Outdoor seating is available seven days a week. There’s even an ice cream shop on the pier. Share a cone with your sweetie. If you’re looking for a casual evening date night then this is the spot
